Update

The Update is coming on very well indeed, nearly completed all the code and once that is done we can go-live with the new database driven Personally Yours website.

PHP is very easy to learn and understand, and building the MySQL database has been a doddle. I've never before been able to do this at all, but I decided to learn how to build web pages with PHP and MySQL as these are two of the main programming techniques used to build web pages these days.

Stay tuned to find out when our go live date is.

Personally Yours

Well, here we go. I've never written a blog before so you'll have to bear with me.

This blog is all about my very own personalised gifts website: http://www.personally-yours.co.uk which I run with my fiancee.

This business is based in Nottingham, England and we are becoming very popular according to the website stats which shows that we get over 500 hits per day.

More about me.

I design and build websites as a hobby and am currently in the middle of starting up my own business, http://www.brwebdesign.co.uk. This is a web design business that will offer my services to the general public and also to local companies around the nottingham area that is looking for a basic website that is just say 4 pages e.g. About Us, Where we are, Contact Us, Services.

If you are looking for a website then please do contact me for a quote: admin@brwebdesign.co.uk.

Now, onto the the main focal point of this blog. At personally yours we continue to strive to keep the customers happy, so what we are doing is taking in comments from people who use the site about the useage of the site, performance etc.

We are currently looking at updating the site and making it database driven. We have been doing this for the past two months and to be fair, it is coming along very well indeed.

Me and my partner are also planning for our wedding in october this year. We both work full time but we are finding it difficult, with all the rent to pay on our apartment and all the other financial commitments that we have ongoing, to save anything for our wedding.
